The Class of 1974 will be hosting the 102nd annual Stewartsville High School Alumni Banquet on Saturday April 13th. Registration is from 5:00 - 6:30 PM with dinner beginning at 6:30 PM. Please see the flyer for more details.


Our Cardinals participated in the Spelling Bee at Osborn today. CONGRATULATIONS to Jacob Foster for earning second place!!!



Mrs. Bishop's class practiced performance event skills today in math. Students used Cheez-Its to model and solve area and perimeter. Third grade at #THENEST is simply the best!






This week we had the opportunity to thank Officer Oulman for all he does to keep us safe!


These kiddos have been working so hard on becoming informational writers! They have picked a favorite animal, done research on that animal to compile facts and have written a rough draft & final draft!💜

The Cardinal Pride Band was selected for the opportunity to have a video call with a member of the President's Own Marine Band. The band worked with GySgt Cecilia Kozlowski for an hour, covering topics from posture and breathing, to advanced instrument techniques and musical careers.




The Stewartsville Swish girls basketball team qualified to the Missouri State Youth Basketball Championships in Columbia in March. Good luck girls!

This week we celebrated National School Counselor Week! Mrs. Cornelius is absolutely amazing and works tirelessly to support our students! ❤️ Thank you Mrs. Cornelius for all you do!


We do not have school on Monday, February 12, 2024. Teachers will be participating in professional development.


Mrs. Flager's 4th grade conducted a STEM experiment. They had to construct the tallest, free-standing football field goal post using only 7 sheets of paper, 18" of tape, scissors, and a yardstick. The winners created one that was 25 inches!

Mrs. Keller's class went on a colonial archaeological dig this week! Students pretended this was a dig site (corner of house, well, path & fire area) & these artifacts were found. Students then talked about what the artifacts were & why they might have been found where they were. They mapped the site & catalogued 4 artifacts. We've got the BEST learning in #THENEST!
