After learning about electrical series circuits this week, Mrs. Keller's class made Valentine card paper circuits. They were able to create them using copper tape, LED lights, and coin batteries, which Mrs. Keller purchased with the donations from the Masonic Lodge breakfast held at the Stewartsville Festival last August. A huge THANK YOU to our community for supporting that fundraiser. The students loved it! ❤️ #THENEST

We still have a couple of gravel roads that are slushy and slick. We hope to be able to get buses on all our gravel roads next week. Check with your students' driver about pick up and drop off. We appreciate your patience and flexibility.
School will be IN session today Wednesday, January 24th. The hard surfaces seem to be in good shape. The gravel is slushy and slick in spots. Take your time and be careful.

The Stewartsville C-2 School District will be in session tomorrow. We understand that some roads are still difficult to get around on. Our buses will be on hard surfaces only and our drivers will let you know where you can meet them to pick up your students if you live on gravel. We would encourage you to bring your students if you are able to but understand if you are unable to get your kiddos to school. Be careful and drive slow. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning!
This evening's basketball games against Mound City have been rescheduled for tomorrow night with JV beginning at 5:15 PM.
Unfortunately we will have to wait another day to start second semester. Due to slick roads and dangerously cold temperatures there will be no school tomorrow Tuesday, January 16th. Stay safe and warm.
