Fifth grade completed an archeological dig of a colonial homestead to learn about items the colonists may have used and use problem solving skills to determine why the items might be found in each grid section of the dig site.

Varsity Basketball Update: Due to the potential for inclement weather on Friday night we are moving the varsity games scheduled to be played at Nodaway Holt to tomorrow, night Thursday, January 9th. Games will be played in Graham, MO. The girls' game will tip-off at 6pm.
JV Basketball Games: We have added a full boys and girls JV Basketball game vs. Winston to the schedule. The games will be played at Stewartsville tomorrow, Thursday, January 9th. The girl's game is set to tip-off at 6pm boys to follow.

It is crazy to think we are now 20 years into the 21st century, but even crazier; we are about to begin the 2nd semester of the 2019-2020 school year. As we return to #TheNest, let’s remember the amazing opportunities we have presented to us daily. We have opportunities to engage in each other’s lives positively, to impact those around us academically, socially, and emotionally. Finally, we have opportunities to decide how we are going to work through trials and tribulations. Interestingly though opportunity by itself does not guarantee success, it only guarantees opportunity. My challenge for each of us as we return to “The Nest” is to seize on our opportunities with 2020 vision and continue to have a mindset that says “Yes I can,” and be prepared to push ourselves to be the best we can be not only for ourselves but most importantly our students. #TheCardinalWay #CardinalVictory
