Returning 7-12 students will have registration on Aug. 11 from 12:30-3pm. If you bring your $25 technology fee, you can take your Chromebook home that day.
New student registration will be Aug. 10 from 8:30am-3pm, so spread the word if you know of new students who are planning to join us at The Nest! New students should bring proof of residency and up to date vaccinations.

Any of our Cardinal families who need help acquiring the needed school supplies for this year can contact Miss Green at agreen@stewartsville.k12.Mo.us. Please make sure to provide your student’s name and grade level, so we can ensure we shop the correct list.
Registration Information
All new students K-12: August 10, 2022 from 8:30am-3:00pm
Returning 7-12 Students: August 11, 2022 from 12:30-3:00pm
Returning Pk-6th students do not need to register.
Just a reminder that Band Camp runs next Monday-Friday in the band room from 9:30-noon, with the Festival parade performance at noon on Saturday. Sports physicals are required this year. Any questions, please contact Mr. Welter.
FFA summer meeting will be held this Wednesday in Stewartsville at the Ag Shop at 5pm. Pizza and drinks will be provided. The meeting is for all incoming freshman through seniors. We will be planning the State Fair trip as well as State Fair entries. Contact Mr. Thompson or an officer for questions.
It’s that time of year again—Summer is winding down and school is just around the corner. That means your teachers at The Nest are already making plans for students to return and ways to make it a great year. So, we are bringing back Cardinal Book Club again for our elementary building and you can sponsor a student for the entire year for $18!
We are always blown away by the way our community shows up for our kids in this endeavor. Checks can be made to Stewartsville C-2 and can be mailed to or dropped off at school during business hours or at registration or Back to School Night.

All students playing high school football next year to meet in Stewartsville at 10 am on Monday to get sized for uniforms.
Due to large class numbers, the Stewartsville C-2 School District is looking for a second 1st grade teacher to join our team. Applications can be found at Stewartsville.k12.Mo.us Questions and applications can be sent to Mrs. Schwope at cschwope@stewartsville.k12.Mo.us.

As a reminder, the federal waiver and funding that allowed us to provide free meals for all students are ending today, Wednesday, May 25. Stewartsville School will no longer be able to offer free meals for all.
Students already approved for free and reduced meals for 2021-22 will be automatically approved for free meals the first 30 days of the next school year, 2022-23. A new application must be completed each year. Those who have not yet applied are encouraged to do so.
If you believe that you might qualify for free or reduced meals, fill out an application for the 2022-2023 school year. The application will be available at student registration in August.
