Greetings Cardinals,
I am so excited to report that we have kicked off another great year and that there is excitement brewing for the CARDINAL VICTORIES our school community will celebrate throughout the 2021-2022 school year. While some might ask what a #CardinalVictory is, we at "The Nest" know what they are:
- They are the common goals that lead us on a crash course with our school mission of "Developing the Cardinal Community as Life-Long Learners" (#TheCardinalWay).
- They are achieved when we as a school community accept those around us for who they are and are willing to lend a hand to help others achieve their very best.
- They are found in those moments when it may appear that hope is lost and we are heading to sure defeat, but we dig deep and continue to fight to the very end.
CARDINAL VICTORIES are present in our classrooms, hallways, fields of play, and homes and are shared with others through positive conversations with our students, teachers, parents, and the school community as a whole. For example, I witnessed the sharing of many CARDINAL VICTORIES during our Back To School Extravaganza on August 19. The event was fantastic, and I was so excited to listen to so many people share their personal stories about how great our school is! Some shared stories about their excitement to be in the building for the first time in over a year. Others praised the hard work that has made the school grounds and facilities look the best they have in years. While many others shared stories about how welcoming the teachers and staff make them feel. And all of them expressed how confident they are in our school's ability to provide a top-notch education for their student(s).
What is a CARDINAL VICTORY? Answer - The positive relationships we develop with others that lead us to exhibit pride in our school and work together for the greater good.
In closing, I do not doubt that this will be the best year yet for the Stewartsville C2 School District, and I am beyond proud to be a Stewartsville Cardinal.
