COVID-19 UPDATE

 To whom it may concern:

 It has been brought to our attention that individuals are making untrue statements regarding Stewartsville C2 Schools District plans to determine the need for quarantine of students and staff members.

 The Stewartsville C2 School District takes our entire school community's safety very seriously and encourages everyone to make choices that are best for themselves and our school community. Therefore the Stewartsville C2 School District intends to follow the Tri-County Health Department's recommendations in determining when a student or staff member should quarantine. Furthermore, at no time since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic has the Stewartsville C2 School District overrode or refused to cooperate with the Tri-County Health Department.

 We appreciate the work of our local health department and county commission in making tough decisions while ensuring personal freedoms and look forward to continuing to work together to serve our school community.
