Campus Cupboard
(A Program for all Stewartsville Families)
Greetings Cardinal Families,
Stewartsville and Second Harvest Community Food Bank are excited to announce a program for our school families. This program is called Campus Cupboard. Campus Cupboard is a pantry that will be housed in the old art room at Stewartsville C-2. The school nurse and counselor will run the program. This program will take place until the end of the school year. You will be given the opportunity to receive at least 3 meals weekly and any gloves, hats, clothes, personal hygiene you might need. This is open to all families. There are no restrictions or guidelines on this program. We want to make sure that all families are covered and have what they need.
Here is how it works :
Each Friday we will open up Campus Cupboard. We will shop for their meals. We will bag it up and stick it in their backpacks. This process is confidential; we want to help our families as much as we can, and with everything going on in the world right now, this a great way for us to help ALL families. This is replacing backpack buddies, which were only for elementary. We want to open this up to ALL families. The only thing that will be tracked is the number of goods going home. We will weigh it so we can track how much we need to get from Second Harvest each week.
